These 45 symbols and accompanying system are part of the international Phaisto’s Project, an exploration of forms and meaning throughout history.

We as humans have evolved and with that, so has our environment and the technology around us. A new language evolved, and that is Artificial Intelligence. Humans are now speaking to machines, becoming a critical aspect of our current epoch. Individuals have easily and eagerly adjusted to using their voice, becoming an essential part of our day-to-day lives. We use voice commands to communicate with artificial intelligence and the most popular machine gets activated by saying the simple phrase “Hey Alexa”. These symbols resembling little cities are voice frequencies created by saying everyday commands used by thousands of people around the world, demonstrating a new visual language.
